I Have a 1985 Celica Supra, we just bought a new fuel pump for it with the streamer. We tested it out before installing and it worked with no problem. We installed it, put up the tank and all, but then the problems started. It seems to not be workin at all now. I lowerd the tank again and checked it out. It works just fine when I connect it to the battery directly. My question is that, I was told that the fuse might be blown or that the Spark plugs need to be changed. Does anybody here have an idea of which of the 2 it can be?? Thanks for the help...

Well if you are getting fuel to the plugs then look at the ignitor check for spark and maybe change the plugs. Do all that first. If you are not gettting any fuel to the plugs when it should then look at your plug at the air flow meter and see.

Try to explain more when you research more and maybe someone can help. GGGLLLL

i had that problem w/ mine and i had a hole in the intake track before the throttle body. and the door on the airflow meter would not open to activate the fuel pump.

Well the thing is I was told that the fuse might be blown out. I've checked all the fuses there are inside the car and outside the car, there all good.. The thing is that when I put the switch in the on position no fuel is being pulled to the injectors. The car does the starup, but it does not turn on. I put new spark plugs and the wiring together and that did'nt help out yet.

turn on the key, and jumper the plug up by the AFM and listen if the fuel pump comes on.

The fuel pump is not getting any power what so ever. Tomorrow I'm just gonna do a jumper switch to it. Get a kill switch and just plug it directly from the battery to the fuel pump, while I find out the source of the problem..
