Please Help!

I need help. My 85 MKII came to me with the underhood in pieces. I put it back together, went to fire her up and the coil fired once and didn't fire again. So I put an MSD coil on it. Again she fired once and didn't fire again. Also I couldn't get the fuel pump to kick on unless the check connector was jumpered. So I replaced the ECM relay. Still nothing. Please help!:duh:

About the only advice I can give you at this point is to check your grounds. There should have been a group of wires that came out of the main wiring harness right under the EFI and should ground somewhere around the Intake manifold, and mine has anouther ground wire from the head to the firewall. It is my understanding that if all the grounds are not conected well that the computer will not get the correct signals and that it will not spark, or fire the injectors, which would cause the pump to possible shut down.
