View Full Version : Headlights don't come up

Ok, So I fixed the radio. Now the headlights don't come up. They did before I fixed the stock radio. The lights come on, I have all dash lights, dimmer works for dash, fog lamps work, hi/low beams work. I can hear the clicking of the relay in the fuse box underhood.
I took a quick look at the retractor relay. Seemed Ok. Used continuity tester like the book said. I checked what I thought were all the fuses.
Any ideas?

Hmm, that sounds very familiar to what I was going thru. I dont remember how mine was fixed... but now my shit doesnt pull enough power to run the radio when the lights go on lol.

i had something like that happen with mine, when i bought it the guy wanted his kenwood out of it, so he took it out while i waited. after that the lights didnt come up, so i began investigating and i found a fuse for the horn and 4 ways and it was blown so i replaced it and they came up

You might be on to something here. I just checked and when I press the horn, the dash lights come on. When I turn the 4 ways on, the switch make a buzzing sound and 4 ways don't flash. Fuse is good. Going to check the wiring on radio again.

You the man...Check fuse..blown..replaced..working again. Thanks a bunch. (I didn't check the fuse for HAZ-Horn the first time)

tricky wiring isn't it - i had thisd exact same problem - would blow my hazard fuse and shit wouldn't work. lights, hazards and horn work - just need to fix that damn radio lol
