Weird Sputtering

I've searched and searched and found alot of things that sounded like my problem but I dont think they are. When I first bought the car it ran great...but after me driving and beating it on it a few times, it now sputters and cuts in and out under wot and half. The car has a full tune up except wires, they are msd and the guy said they were less than a year old.

When I first start the car up I can run it through the gears. But after that it starts sputtering around 3500 -4000 and doesnt want to rev, it does it in neutral to.

Now today I tried something after work, I ran it through some gears, till it sputtered. Turned the car off got out and open the gas door and relieved the pressure. Started it back up and I was able to run through the gears again.

Does this sound like I got stuff floating around in my tank and I need to quit being lazy and drop it anf flush it out?

Well I just got done dropping my gas tank and cleaning it out. There was alot of rust in there! I wish I could of bought a new pick up screen thing. But orielys didnt have it so I just blew it out with a compressor. It was nasty lookin before i blew it out. Put it all back together and it still sputtered.

So now I think it could be my coil? Or perhaps a bad coil wire? Cause I am hearing this wierd noise coming from the drivers side when it starts to sputter.

Well I take that back. It was the junk floating around in my gas tank. The car ran great last night. Guess there must of been some stuff still in the line or something it got sucked into the fuel filter so now everything is good.

you should probably change the fuel filter again, and check the intake hoses and around the m.a.f

ya i thought about it..but i bought the car to drive around, i just like to know i can get all on it if i want, plus this thing is god awful slow lol. and i already had checked the intake for leaks :)
