any ideas what the problem might be? I found that its not the fuel pump,I checked it. The car ran fine until I started fooling with the interior wiring. I have no idea what it could be.

What parts of the interior wiring did you mess with?

When I have the tube connecting the air-intake to throttle-body my supra will start and instantly shut off. Maybe something happened to that tube.

Disconnected the power antenna, rear fluid pump rear speakers. I tested the cold start injector time switch ,on the left"good" but the water temp sensor on the right wasn't giving a OHMS reading. That would cause this would it? What else could it be?
Tha car was running perfect before I started all of this. The interior wiring wouldn't effect the car would it?

Didn't touch anything in the engine compartment

I think I read every thread that had to do with the TPS, ISC, or the AFM. I can't figure out which one could be the problem. When starting the car I have to feather the peddle to keep it from dying. And in doing so it smokes like crazy.
I tried getting the codes from the car and its not working. Ive read the damb books over and over. The picture is vauge, which stupid plug is it. There is like three plugs there, which one?

Sounds like AFM.
What year is the car?

Its an 85. Codes 23,32 are coming up which is the AFM, but I tried four different ones and still nothing.

sounds like a wiring problem, good luck.
Did you do the TSRM tests on the 4 other AFMs?

Could also be the ECU itself, with the circuits for the AFM blown...

I found it. When I drilled a hole to mount a set of bubble fender flare I hit the E2 wire going from the ECU to the AFM. The drill bit was the exact same size as the wire. Gee, the dumbest things that can make a nightmare.

Thanks for all the help, thank you

Hi pal had a problem like that driver side fuse panel there is a 12 volt relay with a single bolt supporting it . This relay closes when motor starts and keeps the fuel sender working On mine the black cap came of the relay so I was ableto see therelay pop open. I held the relay closed with my finger car ran fine hope this helps. Ron:
