Hey All,

I bought a fancy replacement alternator pulley and I've been having a tuff time getting the center bolt off. I can grip the pulley itself and wrench on the bolt with a breaker bar. What's happening is.. the rotor inside the alternator is spinning with the bolt. I have tried an air hammer, with the same effect. I've been contemplating jamming a screw driver between the rotor and the case, but the amount of force I'm using will damage the windings on the rotor. I've also tried some thread unlocker spray with the same results.

Does anybody have any tricks or tips that I might be able to try to get this bolt off. If it works, my family will owe your family a 100 camels.

BTW.. it's a 1JZ alternator, I would assume it's the same for 7M and 2J engines.
