mk3 diff into mk2???

anyone done this or knows anything about it?
mk2 having 'F' series 7.5" and mk3 with 'G' series 8" (same as hilux size)

is there any compatibility with diff mounts and cv flanges?

would like know whether a 1jz or 2jzgte will blow the F series? dats the reason i is askin

Not easily. The mounting patterns and axle flanges are different.

Definitely not without lots of fabrication work (eg custom driveshafts = $$$). The F series diff will hold up OK if you don't abuse it too much.
