Boost threshold on 5m with ct26

I guess the topic says it all. I was a the local library yesterday and ended up checking out Maximum Boost. The question is, when on a 5m-gte do you start making boost? Also, when do you hit peak power (still at about 5.4-5.5k)?

Expect many more questions (I'm hoping to collect parts over the year and turbo my car next summer)

surely you've read the countless threads about people with their 5mgte's and their results...

people seem to use "low" boost systems, 5-7psi typically.

I reach full boost at 3000rpms or a little before with the new turbo. I am running 11psi on the 5mge with non-forged pistons and a 2.0mm MHG. But the engine is balanced and blueprinted. No detonation. Check my website fore all the details.

3K, really? The MkIIIT I drove didn't hit above 4 psi until almost 4k RPMs.

It is around 3K but I will verify again when I get my bored TB in. Maybe I am smoking something. PM me if you like.
