Hey guys, in an attempt to fix my non-working 7MGTE iscv, i have pulled apart my ecu to see if there was any fried components relating to the iscv after reading this thread here (http://forums.celicasupra.com/showthread.php?t=10907&highlight=iscv+ecu+problem).

However, i'm not very good at electronics and don't know where the circuitry for the iscv goes on the board or which resistors it goes through either. So here's a picture and what im asking is, does anybody know which resistors the iscv runs through. All resistors/components look okay to me.

A bad ecu is pretty unlikely.

I can't help you there. But did you do the ISC test per the TSRM? A few times that I thought the ISC was bad, it was usually something else.

Yeh i've checked the ISCV as per the TSRM and it works as far as i can tell. I havn't done it 125 times but i get a defaint jolt when holding it. I do not get any clicks when i turn the engine off. And i tried grounding the ISCV directly to the battery too but that didn't work either. So it's like im not getting a signal from the ECU. And when the ISCV is fully open i get a rolling of revs between 1200-2000rpm. So i've put a garden sprinkler tap in one of my hoses to conrol the flow of air through the ISCV. I might just try and borrow another ECU to try out.

What were some of the other causes you had when you thought it was the ISCV?
