I have searched but not found anyone running an aftermarket sytem on a 5me engine. Would this help out much?

Um, you have to use the right polish, wear gloves, and not press too hard?

Problem is that in the end, you get results "as though you pressed too hard" even though you didn't.

See Norbie's posting that he put in your other thread regarding nitrous. The Aussie guys have tried most of the usual common upgrades known to everyone (because their AUS Spec MKII's came w/ the 5ME). The results end up being pretty crappy.

As soon as Keegan (kvanderlaag) get's some answers on the history of his 81 MKI that he just purchased (that has a STILL RUNNING 5ME that has a Garrett T3 hairdryer attached to it), it's possible that we might someday able to proceed forward.
