whent to the drag strip yesterday to test the street supra and let me let you all it was fun driving thad car it is a 85 p type whit a 7mge whit a t3/t4 super70 @5psi we ran 14.06 whit a 60'of 2.33 and a trap speed of 102 mph the car was spinning til the 3 gear it is a 7mge converted to gte i use the cam sensor and coilpack from a 7mgte and still need to put the intercooler in and standalone(microtech lt12xs)

thads my dayli driver the black drag mk2 is going to the shop for a cage and a brand new 2jzgte is sitting and waithing to go in.
in the dayli driver is the engine thad supose to go n the black one but we dicide to go 2jz and i put the 7mge in the the white one it is running nice but i still need to put the intercooler in for 2nd of june

What hav you done to bottom end , pistons etc on the 7mge to 7mgte?

nothing i bougth the engine from ebay and put it in the engine i just changed the injectors i put the 440 in and tune it to 5psi.

Will a 7mge engine with standard interals still be strong enough to deal with a turbo?

Yes, perhaps a little more than a 6mge. Probably 400 at the wheels - more if w/ SDS and lowered compression using GTE pistions.
