Honestly does not know of anyone who sells a reman'd one. It's bad enough that we can't get anyone to do upgrades on ours as it is (old technology).

Most of the time, it's pretty rare that these crap out. Things like electrical surges (ie: hooked up the cables wrong when doing a jumpstart) are the only problems. If someone has one available from a confirmed running car, then we just let peeps know.

Lee, post up the part # off your ECU - I'm sure somebody will have one.
Also the build date off your door and it's a M/T right?

Well that's why I was asking for your build date and ECU part number.
(They might have varied slightly - I have seen the same part number, but then there is this two digit number on a sticker next to the 'main' part number sticker that is not always the same). I think it's the 'revision' of the ECU so I was trying to find you an ECU you haven't tried...

Myredsupra, I posted in your idle issue thread that you may want to check the alternator. If the the voltage drops the engine will idle more to bring the voltage back up.

Thanks ..it has a Toyota reman froma MKIII it is only about 3 years old.So not that.Checked it yesterday, right on the money.I wish it was that easy. Here is a freek for sure.OK yesterday I checked my timing crossover,it worked.Today...I checked it..it wasn't working.I changed the ECU ,and now the cross over is working, but that didn't help the idle problem at all, cause I thought it might be the ECU,so why would it have worked yestereday, and today not work? The wiring harness is haunted.I need a new complete wiring harness... :-(

Also, when I disconnected my power amp...my gas milage went up a bit...how fucked-up is that...but that has nothing to do with the idle. That was a gradual thing.I noticed the idle started being a little hi,and then ...well here I am,I have pulled all my hair out,and I am walking around in a freekout all the time....SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

How long ago did you have the issue with power steering fluid dripping on it?
If you can swap out the alternator. From what you describe an alternator going out could be one of the problems. Everything else you have listed would be the main culprits, and you fixed those.

I'll stop pushing the issue.
