I attempted to start the car and it wouldn't idle. Anyone have any experience with the setup??

Which wire is used... Vs or Vc??

It's VS. You deff have the AFM part wired incorrectly. The AFM wire goes through the AFC to the ECU. So, VS is cut, one end is spiced going TO the AFC and the other end splices TO the ECU.

Thanks. I switched wires and now its up and running. I have taken out 7% but it feels like its still a little much. I am going to find a dyno around soon.

Thanks, any tuning tips will be appreciated...

Looks like a good time to buy a wideband; save the dyno time for power pulls

Yeah, guess so... I am a little behind on the gauges, so whats the best deal out lately?

Where would be the best place for the probe(Header)?

I got my AEM wideband from sean at titan motorsports. Works very good with SAFC-2 and vpc. Still dont know how to tune it yet( whole other story)Cant remember the price but if you go to their website look at the price then call and ask them to take a little more off they usually can. Dont forget the guage pod. summit sells them as well...even seen one similar a pepboys(might be cheaper)

I think summit sells them as well.

good place for the probe is in the DP...just get a bung and weld it in or tap one in.

Yeah, I have used them in turbo cars with my EGTs, but never on a header like the Thorley..

I used zeitronix on my 5mge. Put it in the stock location, and it has a narrow band output to keep the ecu happy.

It has great logging abilities. I'll be installing one on my 7mge header shortly.

I was looking at that and one other one that was similar. I have an Autometer gauge that would accept the input....sounds like this might be the best way to go and most cost efficient...
