So I wake up yesterday morning only to discover that now my headlights do not work! My car is an 82 L-Type with only 51,000 original miles on the odometer. So anyway I go to hit the headlight switch to turn the lights on, and the lights wouldn't even pop up! I get out the car to check to see if even my low beams would come on but nothing. The car did start however that morning so it was to work as usual. I decided I would have that checked out anyhow when I went to the shop the next day to get a tune up. So now today the damn thing won't even start! The battery has plenty of juice, and the car does turn over. I sincerely doubt it is the fuel pump, because I am sure that would not cause the headlights to cease functioning. So It must be some type of electrical problem I suppose. Perhaps a bad ground or fusible link? So I have just about had it, and will have to get the car towed to the shop (jump starting did not work) so that perhaps they can figure out what the hell is wrong! I really wanted to take this chick out tomorrow too! So much for that right? Anyhow I will keep you all informed. Thank you.

Take out a couple of the 10mm timing cover bolts & take a peek to see if your timing belt may have snapped or stripped out.

Also, do simple tests to see if your getting spark, fuel, etc

Pull your coil wire & hold it to metal...does it spark?

So I got the car back today, and it turns out that at least one of the fuses were blown. I am unsure, but it was likely one of the major fuses in the engine compartment fuse box. I am so fu%^ing relieved to have my car running again! Plus I have a date with this smoking hot girl tomorrow! Kazuma is back bitch!
