So far 100 people have RSVPd for SILV07.

The current breakdown is:
8 MkIIs
30 MkIIIs
47 MkIVs

There are currently 69 RSVPs for the Scenic Drive – only beat by 77 that plan to participate in the Show-and-Shine. Why there are 9 people that are coming to Vegas and not planning on participating in the Show-and-Shine is beyond me.

The Dyno Challenge and Drag Showdown are running very close in RSVPs with 37 and 39 respectively and we already have 18 players interested in our 3rd annual Poker Tournament.

While most of our current RSVPs are from the United States we will also be joined by Supra enthusiasts from around the globe. Andy S from New Zealand and Andy K from Germany have RSVPd and we expect a few more will RSVP before the event.

17 states are already represented on this year’s RSVP list. The top three states are currently Nevada with 7 RSVPs, AZ with 11, and California accounting for nearly half of the entire list at 54.

We expect these numbers to continue to rise as we count down the days until the eleventh annual Supras Invade Las Vegas event.

We currently have a T-shirt artwork design contest running. You could design this year’s T-shirt artwork and win $250. We’ll even send you a couple of T-shirts with your design. Visit http://Vegas.Supras.Org/v07/tshirt.asp for more details.

Sponsors are starting to sign up. If you have a company and would like to be a sponsor of this annual Supra tradition please visit http://Vegas.Supras.Org/v07/sponsor.asp to find out how to receive our sponsor proposal packet.

Our Drag Showdown program is coming together. Michelle has returned as the coordinator for this activity for the second year. We are currently looking for participants for the 6-Speed Challenge. There will be a deposit required this year so we can make sure there are enough people interested in this class.

Other activities are coming together as well and we will be updating the official SILV07 website at http://Vegas.Supras.Org/v07 very soon.

No MkI's yet? Maybe one day someone will show up with a 1967 2000GT. Wouldn't that be cool?

^^ I might bring my MKI out again this year, it's been sitting in storage since the last time it appeared at the vegas meet. my MKIV is down at the monent and I don't know if it will be ready in time.

A 2000gt That would be more than just cool. I've always wanted to see one in person. it's a another dream car in my book..

Working on the hotel as quickly as they will take my calls. Still having some sticking points.

Yet another milestone reached.

Congratulations to Christopher M from Arizona for being the 100th Supra to RSVP for the Show-and-Shine.

RSVPs are actually ahead of where they were this time last year. Let's keep it up guys! Can we finally break 200 Supras in the Show-and-Shine this year? We were pretty close two years ago.

Again, we don't have any prizes for you Christopher. Just this shout out.

Only 8 MkIIs RSVPd? Where's the love guys? Come on! I hope we have a few more than that show up!

Its probably really 7 MkIIs as well. I doubt I'll be there. My car is probably never leaving the garage again unless I can get a miracle here soon.

If I was in CA maybe I ll attempt it. I am afraid my car will break down in the middle of no where. Plus I have horrible gas mileage. When are we going to have SID? Supras Invade Denver lol.

Keywords here: GROUP CARAVAN!!! I know there are a couple of MKIII guys that leave together for SILV. Any possible way you can get ahold of them.

Traveling long distance "solo" like this, is asking for trouble. The 2 breakdowns I've had in 7 years (alternator & fuel pump), I've always been with a group, or at least 1 other car.

When are we going to have SID? Supras Invade Denver lol.

Plan it, & it may happen. You just need 4 main items. Host hotel, place to drag race, facilities that has a dyno & a location for a Show & Shine. Let us know how your migraine is, after you're done coordinating all of this.

<---- Has done his share of Meet & Greet planning, and 1 Fun Run (for the locals, it was up to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympics) to know the logistics & headache's that go w/ planning stuff like this. And this was on a small local scale, compared to SILV.

HAHAHA! If I lived in Denver I'd be treking to Vegas every couple weeks (in a car even).

Try actually driving. :)

Chris Jensen drives 3ish hours down to my place (Seattle to Portland - on a Friday evening) then Saturday morning we do 13 - 14 hours (crashing in Tehachapi). Then Sunday we get up and are in Vegas in time for lunch.

Denver to Vegas... once you crest the mountains... isn't it all down hill after that? :)

Most likely not again.... I know.... now it's 3 years in a row & it's rather depressing. Have already told a few peeps @ the PacNW Nationals that I'm probably not going again this year.

Unless my job situation changes for the better, it's out of my budget again. Flying in would be a different alternative, but again, I don't have the $$$$. I STILL have not forgotten how generous this forum was, when the collective got together & tried to fly me down there.

Plus I would feel naked w/o 1 of my Supra's. This past Friday was a great example. Was not sure how crowded Pacific Raceways was for the import test & tune (that a few of us participated in, as part of the PacNW Nationals), so I left my car @ work & I carpooled w/ my GF in the Camry. Soon as we got to the track & I saw all of the Supras, I got depressed/bummed, because I did not have either of my cars with me. But at the same time, carpooling was a much better idea. Anywho... Another year goes by, but I can say that I'm one of the lucky few MKII owners who has gone 7 years in a row. I'll get back eventually.

I thought that's what Mr. Noyes has said in the past.

BTW... (off topic), are you here in town right now??? Or still @ home??

Broke the R154 on the way home from the drags doing some 18psi pulls down the freeway.:D Got a spare but time is running short with other things that also need attention.

Oh OK I see. As I was reading I was like I got one here. But then I saw that you need to get other things done. Well I hope for the best then.
