I had to quit watching... I got a CD burner for my 16th birthday. Back when they cost $350 for a parallel interface 2x2x6x external. ...and I was ecstatic.
I would have passed out if I got an SC430. Hell, my parents have never owned anything that nice.

It's not the birthday girls fault , thats she's a spoiled bratt & behaves like that .. The parents are completely to blame , for the little monster they created .. They need to teach her ethics.. Give her what she needs/essentials & have her earn what she wants..
I always remind my kids ..
" as far as inheritance ,They can both forget it !! , But I will do everything I can to give them opportunity / an education.."

I would have left her there with her friends, and commenced hitting yard, garage and rummage sales and gotten her a well used Barbie jeep with a dead battery. Then have her go outside during her birthday party with all her friends in tow. The expression would be all too good. Then, Id say, "That's your new car. If you dont like it, go get a fucking job and buy your own."

that's a product of lazy, uninterested, punk ass parents. and people wonder whats happening to society, it will only get worse. people should have to pass a test to reproduce. hell you have to pass a test to adopt a dog from the pound.

That would be an ideal solution.
But the princess (Wearing a tiara) would have had to shut down the household until she got what she wanted.
I've seen this kind of crap before.
I think a milder version would be the man/woman expecting the other to pay for everything in the relationship.
My GF makes about double what I do, that with no bills. I still manage to treat her though.

I think at the end of all those sweet 16 shows, they should just take all the presents away and say "Suprise! Go get a job you dumb bitch"..
That would make a much more entertaining TV show.

So sad. The parents have completely failed in their roles. No child needs that. They need proper parenting that instills good values.

I couldn't finish it...
When I got my license in '91 I got to drive a shit brown '84 Plymouth Horizon. The driver's door had no handle; you'd push on the little rod to open it. The passenger door didn't open at all. The manual tranny was so loose you could never tell what gear you were in. But you know what, it had 4 wheels and it ran, and I was happy to drive it! I'm amazed at the growing number of clueless spoiled asshats that are polluting our nation.

I hate our younger generation. Spoiled brats like her make me sick.
Every time I see that show it pisses me off to see that there are so many picky "children".
If I was like that to my mother and if I said those words to my mother, I would have had the belt from here to oblivion.

Hahaha I remember those days as well. It served me allot of good and I learned from it too.
Just goes to show you what the old ways had that where good. Now a days if you get reported for doing any of the "proper" parenting, You get arrested for it.

My wife was in Wal Mart one time. Told my youngest no when he kept asking for something. When momma says no, she means no. He started to cry but before he could, she told him, "If you wanna cry, I can take you to the restroom and give you a reason to cry." A woman heard my wife tell my kid that and stood in front of my wifes shopping cart. She starts off telling her how treating children like that causes them to grow up and be murderers and rapists and she wasnt fit to be a parent. My wife raised an eyebrow at the woman and responded, "Not disciplining your children is the cause of all these retarded children killing other kids in school! YOU obviously are oblivious to reality!....Perhaps I should take YOU to the restroom as well!" 2 other people on that isle overheard the whole conversation and applauded my wife. The snobby lady just blushed and ran away. I am so proud of my wife.

Haha, Billy, I can say as sure as I am sitting here that it was nothing like that. Like I've said 1,000,000 times, I would be driving the Supra if dad would let me. The SC3 was not THAT expensive, and if that is "Super Sweet 16" (my flash player is fucked) then I agree with everyone here: those people should be shot.

Dang I'm the younger generation. I guess we can't really avoid a bad name, especially with what kids are doing these days. I don't argue with any of your logic. That girl is a total little brat, due to insufficient parenting. Geez.
I would be so happy for a lexus when my 16th comes. But then again, dad's supra is pretty appealing.... :)

That's AWESOME. We need more people like your wife! It's sad that parents have to be scared to properly discipline their children. Like all things, a few bad apples spoil the bunch...

Definitely a good parent. My cousins aren't disciplined much, and they broke my PSP, yet the parents weren't disciplining. BTW he broke it by throwing it to the ground, purely intentional.
I sure know I get disciplined when I cross the line. :duh:
