I apologize for the outage these past few days. Also, the bandwidth/storage issues.

I will be working on the site over the weekend...and the plan is to have a new and improved cs.com by next Wed or so. The forum will still be up this weekend, but it may go down for 10min here and there.

Thanks for your patience.

I work on servers from time to time... most of the time when they break you ARE sitting around and grumbling.... :D

Great job Mike and the admin Team! Looking forward to the new site once it's up. Are you going to update the old faw and such that was on the old celicasupra site or maybe integrate them in somehow?

Thanks for all the hard work. I guess we kind of take it for granted that the site will always work and then really miss it when it's not there!!!

I also work in Tech Support so I know how much of a pain it is when things don't work. Hopefully the weekend will go smooth for you!

Hey Everyone,

I'm going to be doing some basic updates to the software running on the server. vBulletin will be upgraded soon, so I'll have to close the forum for a few mins, but will re-open it right away.

I noticed three unread PM's in my box when the site went down...they are missing now. Is that part of the lost data or will I get them back?

I believe Mike said that the host recovered an earlier backup. So it's probably part of it.

I hope we keep the same software. This is one of the easiest to navigate sites I've used. I like it, except when it goes down.

I can quit anytime I want...yeah, right!

Do you think there's a way to improve the site search? I'm trying to do a search for ""heater core" replace" and the CelicaSupra search doesn't bring up what I need it pulls up all this other junk. Now if I go to google and type ""heater core" replace site:forums.celicasupra.com" I get what I need and not all the other un associated stuff.

Mind you this was with the Advanced Search used.

"Welcome to the [ARG:3 UNDEFINED]."

On the welcome area of the message board up near the top. Just noticed it today, 5.13pm EST.

That message appeared when I wasn't logged in, but displays properly once logged in.

Good snag, thanks.

re. Search, we are limited to the VB functionality for now.

I get 2 welcome messages while not logged in. A normal one, and the ARG:3 UNDEFINED.

Ever since the last outage, I am no longer able to insert a link - click here (http://http://forums.celicasupra.com/showthread.php?t=34750)

If you look at the code under the link, it's obvious what's wrong:

http://http//forums.celicasupra.com/showthread.php?t=34750

That's not valid...

What you need is:

http://forums.celicasupra.com/showthread.php?t=34750

When you click the add link icon ( http://forums.celicasupra.com/images/editor/createlink.gif ) you can see in the popup that it already supplies the leading http://

http://www.supracentral.com/private/celsupinsertlink.gif

All you need to add after that is:

forums.celicasupra.com/showthread.php?t=34750

Hope that helps.
