Damn man...that thing just scoots down the track! The white mk4 was charghing hard, just got owned out of the hole. It would be fun to take Chris' car out on the twon one night, no one would see you coming...

I'll give a completely honest representation of the car when it was running
its best:

Chris's words (basicly) (this was right after I tightened the wastegate)
should have been about 420rwhp

Get in, start it up, idle smoothly, take off gently and go towards the
freeway, then chris shifted gently into 4th gear and rolled gently to full
throttle. The car started making boost at 65mph, and at 70mph the
boost hit 15psi, the rear tires lit up and the car drifted gently sideways.

Yes, just rolling into the throttle it'll slide sideways. Before the car's
"demise" it was one of the fastest cars in the southeast. It has recently
had an engine fire, blown turbo and 0 compression in the #5 piston. it
needs LOTS of work to be put back together. I've been talking to chris
as he and I worked very hard to get this car where it was, I'm wanting to
buy the car from him and fix it to its former glory. I've got 1st dibbs and
I'll do the car justice if I get it.

Oh yeah, and we used to street race all the time. No-one ever really
took us seriously unless the'd seen us before. If they had they were
useually scared to race us. I think the cobra with N2O, who was spraying
and still lost was the most suprized.

Haha! I can relate to how fast +400 rwhp mk2 can be, well, more like 350 rwhp as I haven't pushed past 350 yet (still running 15psi on 93 octane)! Sounds like you were using race gas alot! I guess I'll have to start using race gas and turn boost up to +18 psi to get to your level. :P Just don't wanna do it 'til I get more dyno time!

18psi T3/T4 hybrid turbo, lots of dyno tuning, PUMP gas 8-).

22psi on race gas. (which is truely even more scary. we call it the
rocket ride)

they're more or less talking about the MKII in general... so far I've read/understand (with an online translator) they haven't put down *your* car....
