5mge in a 86 Toyota IFS pickup?

I have done a lot research in this area. :mad: i do have a spare 5mge/ wiring harness from the 83 parts car engine harness, and the underhood fusebox w/ wiring from both sides of the car that ends up in the engine bay and wraps under the windshield. :shock: any one ever done this/or know any tips or tricks, or any other resources :?: :?:

It's been done :D You'll need to do a 4" IFS lift, or a solid axle swap. http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/supra/ Have fun, post pics if you do this.

its actually quite common. The old 4 bangers in the old the toy pickups are pretty guttless, the 5m is cheap plentiful and thus often used replacment. Not to complcicated from what I hear. Just search around for some Toyota pick up forums and you'll find all the info you need.
