I was wondering if someone could tell me the oil pressure in psi at 2k rpms on a stock oil pump and if someone reshimmed theres, what was there psi and how thick was the shim?

At idle it should be at 4.3 psi and at 3,000 rpms it should be at 36 to 71 psi, as per the tsrm.

Your oil pressure will vary depending on what viscosity you are using, hence the 36-71 psi. spec..
Re-shimming? The stock oil pump relief valve spring doesn't have any shims ......... leave it that way. :)

As long as you are above 10psi per 1000rpms its good. Any more is a waste of energy.

well i was wondering because of all the stuff i read of reshimming and i was wondering how much it changes. a friend with a 7mge to t was asking.
