Ive been slowly fixing all the crap wiring in this car and this plug came to my attention. I was afraid to touch it for fear it would disintegrate on me.

Today I picked up a replacement from a j/y harness, but I was wondering if anyone could identify what it connects. I searched the TSRM wiring digrams but couldnt find any single item that had the wire colors.

It is a 6 wire connector located along the driver side under the fuse block. The wire colors on the female side are:

| W-R, B, Y |
| Br, G, L |

Male side is the same color combo but switch from stripes to bands, and the black wire picks up red (or maybe its brown) bands.

EDIT: I thought I should add that other than a code 41 (TPS - that Im still working on tracking down) I show no codes, the car runs good and everything electrical seems to work properly. I guess its still making contact whatever its for, but its getting replaced either way.

Thanks -Pete

they just go into the loomed harness if I remember correctly (looked at em last week). Now that I have the replacement plug Im gonna trace em back as far as I can. I was just hoping someone good with wiring would take one look at it and know right off.

your car is auto !
It is connector D1 for the ECT
in the same order :
1-> ECT solenoid 1
2-> ECT solenoid 2
3-> ECT solenoid 3
4-> Speed sensor in tranny
5-> A/T indicator sw "2"
6-> A/T indicator sw "L"
