i need help

Hi i just bought a 1985 celica supra completely stock. It doesn't run, yet, so i need some suggestions for what to do. I bought it to learn on it because i know nothing about cars yet. Anyways i am making my plans for it and i need some advice if anyone can help it would be great! (oh and please make it easy for me to understand i am very illiterate when it comes to cars thanks!!) also i want to make it go fast but ill figure that out later!

1. Buy a copy of the Toyota Service and Repair Manual
2. Use search on this site to see if anyone has had the problem before
3. If you've read the manual, and if you've used search, ask detailed questions.
4. Buy some steaks and a few cases of beer and invite the CS.COM folks over one Saturday afternoon...
