Hey guys just wanted to know if there would be an issue with me just taking off my timing belt cover and leaving it off and driving around like that.
I think it looks way cool....
Will anything go wrong if i just took it off and drove around like that??

other than dirt and stuff getting into that area that was previously sealed you should be fine...
I drove with mine off for a while. But upon doing my custom hood with scoop i needed put it back on.
I wouldnt recomend it tho. Just cut and paste clear plexiglass in there.

1)go to local home depot/lowes or other hardware store.
2) ask for and buy some plexiglass 1/4" thick is PLENTY thick (thinner might even be better)
3) cut out area desired on timing cover
4) cut out replica piece but about .5 inch bigger in the plexi glass
5) apply glue and pressure.
6) clean any excess glue
7) test for any clearance issues (shouldnt have any...but better safe than sorry)
8) enjoy the spinning can gears.

um...i used a small jigsaw...but a dremel, small hand hack saw, or really anything...the plastic cuts pretty easy.

the wrong piece of dirt or debris and the timing belt is done. i strongly recomend the clear cover idea if you must see the spinning gears
