Yup the 85 is in bad shape for what I wanted it to do so Im selling it all and going with my fiat project. My 220rwhp 6m tweaked the whole frame and rippled the main rear subframe. Thats why its so cheap. A frame machine may save it but easier to just say its done. The only rust is the rear 1/4 on the pass side behind the wheel well and a 2" hole at the top of the shock tower. Between Cary and me we beat it to death. And the fools in between us. I will get another supra soon maybe next summer when my fiat is done and the way I want it. Striping Paint off a car is a good way to see what shape it really is in. It is a Canada car by the way.

Is the 3.73 lsd? Also with the fuel pump...does the pulsation dampener come with it or can I get that seperate?

Yes it has all pickuptubes and even the fuel level sensor. It was removed as a whole unit and the fuel line was cut 1' after the pump. All wiring is there with both ends of the plugs. No rust on any of it. It even has the pump mount still on it.


As for the 3.73 no its from a 82 auto Ltype. As far as I know all Ltypes in 82 were not LSD. But I have been wrong before.

hey jason...if you start parting it out I would like to have the digi dash and trip computer out of it...not sure what else to make it work in an analog but shouldnt be much else...

and i didn't beat it too death...well perhaps i did grenade the original LSD that was in it...

All I really need is the dampener on the end, I put in a bosch unit, so im good on that end. If you want to part it out please let me know.

If I end up parting it you will be the first for parts off it. And I will pull the whole harnness with the digi just for you. As of right now it is still whole and drivable after I finish up hooking up all the old senors.

Here is all the rust inside. Just small surface rust were the subframe flexed too many times. And the hole above the shock tower.

The hatch has no rust anywhere on it not even around the hatch seal area.

Fenders are just hung on there for now as I pulled them to inpect the frame for more damage but has none in the frontend.

This will make a good DD but not a 1/4 mile car as I would not trust it with a modded engine with all the findings after the teardown.

Its decent. Needs a really good shampo No wear holes in it one or two spots that are faded.

I want the dyno sheet posted, keep hearing this line about a 220hp 6m with never an ounce of proof.

I also call B.S. on the engine having enough torque, to have caused this on a non-rusted shell. Wade's 420whp monster, was just in my shop, 90% of the interior was out, it has more miles, and it's not twisted.

That was before I sold my AEM. As it did not make a differance in the tune more of a monitor. Well it is sold anyway so it a new guy joins here bragin about his 6m ask for the new dyno #. I think he lives in Idaho.

No I sold my built 6m for 2500 cash to a weekend racer(Ricer). That is why the rest is so cheap. That 2500 is going toward my 1600cc dual carb setup on my fiat. The other 6m was promised to breadsticks. No word from him as of july.

When I purcused this car back in 2006 I looked over the whole underside and it had no wrinkles under or around the frame rails. Two months after I finished paying It off I rebulit the whole engine removing the cheap forged 85 5m pistons that were in it with .50 over 10.5 comp pistons. With custom made high lift cams not regrinds (from RAM Engines)

After I find my camra I will take better pics of the torque damage. I do believe why you would not belive me as I too can not understand why a N/A 3.0 under 250hp would tweak a frame. It came from somewhere and I do not pop the clutch as that will break things. As seen on many vids on here at the track. I will be back at this with a real 1/4 mile supra. I hope to some day go to supras invade vegas.

Found his house. His never home and has a garage. His last employer will not give out his #. Time for a stake out. I do believe it is striped by now but the body is what Im after dont care about the engine. It is in Cyndys name so I can just only sit and wait. I did give all the wreaking yards the vin# if they see it.

Update on my 85 sivler
Went to his work asked for any info on Dustin.
They told me his stoled money from them and left/got fired. This was back in june.
So he may be in jail and my car in his garage.

My other half sold it to a friend she knew for 4 months Put a down payment on it. Got fired 2 weeks later from his job. Than just poof gone. The same time I went to seatle for a month. Never gave him the title just a bill of sale stating he owned 1100 still due by the 3rd of each month starting June 3rd. And when I was gone he went in to my garage and picked out all the parts he needed. I think he owes me at least 1600 + interest. A phone call to tell what is up would have been nice.

I have really thought this over about the frame and decided to repair it. Straiten it and run frame connectors along the whole under side. Start over on the engine after this is done. Im hoping for a 250hp N/A 6M this time around. I will dockument the whole build this time. My spare parts are still up for grabs.
