you want the headlight relay unplugged, which is by the little popper thing for the service light under the hood. Or. To not disable them functionally. Put headlights on, go all the way to the off selection. And as they are going down, turn the selector to the first or second selection. The motors will stop.

It's under the hood, pull the two called "EFI" and "MAIN" respectively...

Smack the ECU with a hammer and it will get that lazy eye look from brain damage.

this is the way to go for the lazy eye affect.

actually the proper way is to modify the retractor arms and pivot point so they will function like stock but only go up a certain height (whatever you set it to).
this guy describes it in his write up. I have done the same thing, but havent installed them because i havent found the lights i want yet.

Sell your Supra to a true enthusiast, and find some other piece of crap to start modifying.

"other" piece of crap? are you implying that a our cars are pieces of crap? =P mine perhaps, yes.. but supras in general, no.
anyhow, your definition of "true enthusiast" is probably quite different than most. blah blah blah, let the man do what he likes with his car. .. it's just a lazy eye thing, not like it's a 3 foot spoiler or some other junk like that, haha.

Who need headlights??? Well if you live in a large city then,Why? I took mine out and did a Foglight clear lens conversion with 100watt H3 bulbs.. Youll get real good at aiming lights when you get them just right.. Check out my cardomain page..

This is for a 180SX/240SX, but maybe something similar can be done with our cars?

I'd have to say there are a lot of things that look worse and are more detrimental to a car than lazy eyes so there no reason to lambaste the guy.

That is one impressive MKIII. Makes me wish I could do body/paint work all the more after seeing that MKIII!
It looks like the 91 Grand Prix head lights are the same as our MKII fog lights.
If this is true we could just mod our fog lights and not need to open the regular head lights.
IIRC Batmobile did a LED fog light mod for this effect.
It was clean!

I believe there is a member that has gran prix headlights in place of his foglights. They sit in a bit farther and he's been pulled over for them. Something about them not being a certain height above the ground.

have you not read the thread to turn the foglights on without the headlights...
search foglight mod/foglight rewire.

I have read that, but I'm talking about replacing the bulb setup as well.
Our stock fog lights aren't as bright as head lights.

Exactly right. It was SocalSupra who did it. I'm kinda glad that happened in a way, because I was starting to think of doing that to my car. Now I won't, because it's illegal.
Just putting in brighter bulbs won't make the OEM fogs legal headlights, either. That would also have the possibility of melting the power wires in the foglight circuit, so those have to be upgraded as well. I was thinking of the possibility of using the earlier Grand Prix coupe rectangular headlight housings/mounting brackets mounted in place of the regular headlights, and then modding the arms so the headlights would have a lower profile. One would also have to use a dual-filament bulb in the small housings for high/low beam (originally those Grand Prixs used separate lights, 4 total). Hope I've given you all some food for thought!

You have to think though, he lives in california. Where shit is inspected a lot more than other states. I'm sure I could get away with it in washington. I actually drove around a lot in my 82 with 100w bulbs angled downward, with the blocker plate removed. More light on the road and less glare to the drivers. I had friends test the glare for me. I only got pulled over once and that was because one of my headlight bulbs was burnt out.
