And WHAT KIND of aftermarket steering wheel are we looking at???

Does the spline count on the wheel match up w/ the steering column shaft???

Or do you need an adapter???

Sorry... The question was rather vague, & missing info.

Go to E-Bay, search for Momo (or the brand of your choice Sparco, Grant etc), find one you like, buy the right adapter for the Supra you have, and follow the instructions to install it. And try not to hit yourself in the face pulling the old steering wheel off...

If you use search, there are quite a few threads about different steering wheels in the Mk II...

theres only a few companies that make hub adapters specifically for our cars. i believe thats momo, sparco, and grant. you can use hub adapters from other cars, but you may have to make some modifications for stuff like the horn to work. whats your price range? thats a big factor. the momo hub adapter is something like $80 and the wheels arent cheap either. your looking at at least $300 for a nice momo wheel. ive never priced out sparco so i couldnt tell you prices but i know they arent cheap. gt grants are nice and very affordable which is what i got.

Is THIS (http://www.grantproducts.com/showapplications.aspx?year=1984&make=TOYOTA&model=SUPRA) The Kit that he would need? You say 80, but this is cheaper. ? I am pondering putting my MOMO steering wheel in my Supra, but this doesn't seem right.

I can ask a guy if he's momo adapters for our car, I went to a car show and he was selling momo adaptors for I think $40, I got my wheel for $140 us shipping was $10. Doesn't exactly fit in with the supra all that well (its sqaured off at the bottom) but I had difficulties jumpin in the car because of the big steering wheel it'd be hitting my lap (I'm 6'4)

I think there maybe a couple of pictures in my albums, if not I can snap a picture and send it your way.

It's not right unless you want to stick a grant wheel in your car. If you want to use a Momo wheel, you're gonna need a momo adapter.

I could hook up the horn if I wanted to, but with the alarm being triggered every time I unlock the car, I don't want it hooked up. :)

Oh, and if its not clear to everyone else by looking at the last two posts, if you don't have a Supra emblem in the middle of your aftermarket wheel, you're doing it wrong.
