Need some help knock sensor problem

I did a search for this but did not find this problem. Im swapping engines. I took the engine out of my 85 cressida and im putting it in my supra. The problem I have is that the cressy motor does not have a knock sensor. Can I just leave it unplugged?
Any Help would be great.
