So Cal: 1983 Supra MKII $800 OBO

Hello all-

I had big swapping and drifting dreams when I got this MkII Supra. Unforntunalty, I have too many projects going on in my life and I just don't have room for this one. :sadsmilie

So here we go...

Basic info: 2.8L inline 6 cyl, 5 speed stick shift, 244,000 miles

The Good: The brakes, shocks and springs all work great. I think the shocks and springs are aftermarket. 5 speed stick is also in good shape. Body is in good shape except a few dings here and there. The interior is nice and all electronics work.

The Bad: The engine does run, but it’s making some noise and probably needs to be worked on. Rod knock?? I don't quite know, but it does drive around. The clutch needs to be replaced, it's gone. The car could also use an alignment. There is no stereo to speak of.

The Ugly: This is a 25 year old car so it does need TLC. As mentioned above, it does have some body dings here and there. It could use a good waxing and the black areas need to be cleaned up / polished.

Overall, I think this car is a good canidate for a 7MGTE swap.

Bump it up.

I have 2 guys from craigslist who are interested. I posted it here because I wanted to give the Supra community a crack at it as well. I thought it would be nice for this car to go to a true Supra lover.

You will have to post LOTS more pics if you want someone here to buy it.

Specifically, you have to point out any rust free spots. That will really raise the value to an out of state buyer.

At least a picture of the interior would help.

They guy I sold it do was into Supra's though, he said he plans on swapping in a 7MGTE and getting it back into prime shape.
