Have you tested the charge relay? It is near the firewall behind the panel that goes over the fuse block on the drivers side. Have you also checked the light bulb in the gauge cluster?

Well the charge light does not really have much to do with the car starting. Have you checked the ignition switch? Have you checked the connection of the large wire from the starter to the battery?

Is it the charge light you ask or the check engine light?

On the other side of the ignition where you put the key in to start it......with a question like that, I would be very leary of working on your own car, you should have someone else look at it before you do more damage.
check engine light
And see, that is where being able to type makes a difference.....I though you were talking about the charge light. And I doubt that you are going to get a check engine light if the car won't even start since the ECU has nothing to read off of.

I nearly died
Try checking the IGN fuse, EFI relay and ground strap under intake manifold.

if it won't turn over and none of the lights come on, maybe the battery or battery ground is toast.

ummm, im pretty sure my check engine light comes on once i put the key in the on position. regardless of whether the car cranks or not. thats got nothing to do with it.
a good question is what happens when you put the key in the "ON" position. do any warning lights come on?

Yeah, danny... you must have stopped reading right after the part where I said "if it won't turn over" so yeah. finish reading what I wrote. if it's a bad ground, nothing happens when you move the key to the on position.

The little black box on the + side of the cable will lose connection inside as well as the clear plug that goes under the fuse box. If that will not give you lights than your alarm has set and killed power to all. Have a audio shop look at the wiring for you.
