I am just wondering if the egr ports on the intake manifolds are the same for all mk2s. I know they are in different spots, but dont know if the port is the same.
I know you could find block off plates for our cars so does that mean that they should be the same?
Any help is appreciated.
Scott, I bought machined very nice block off plates from Gaslight aka Jake you posted in the thread as well, cant remember if yrs where mentioned??

years were not mentioned in that thread. I have two diffent years intake manifolds (83 and 85) and they are both the same.
Right now I am guessing they are all the same at least as far as block off plates go.

Toyota at work! I never noticed that but now that I think about it, they looked like the same bolt pattern and shape.

Sorry to come in a little late here. All the block off plates should work in the last motor swap i did 83 into a 85 we used the 83 intake and head to mock up the plates we built for the 83 motor with an 85 head. I’m not sure how these pre-fabbed plates are but the patterns are the same. The only difference i know in the EGR systems that are major is the piping. Unless im mistaken there identical except for routing.

Im pretty sure your right.
There was a group buy on block off plates and they were all the same (no variation for different years). That makes me think they should be all the same (or at least close enough)
