My wishrims came true after 4 years waiting

I promised to put up some pictures when I got them on the car.....
I couldnt wait anymore,, hope we dont get any more snow,, we have only had 4 inch of snow the whole winter.. this year...

Now how it looks...

Front 8½" x 17 with 235/40 - 17 Kumho este supra
Rear 10" x 17 with 265/40 - 17 Falken

I think its one very rare set,, havent see others i denmark in that size.

It is an old german made set.....

I have bought both with many miles on it , change engines made rustrepairs and painted them in my ideas of how I seems a mk2 should look like..

The front 8½ x 17 is offset ET 13
the rear 10 x 17 is offset ET 20 + a 25mm spacer bringing the rim further out.

Yes I made that..... its pretty simple.......
I think myself that the golden intake are more stylish that the red one.... but had to try the smaller intake on the red one... both are anyway alright....

Wow! That is just wicked. All these options for the p-types....I love my L-type but have to work on a way to get more rubber to the ground. Very cool car!

The rears only look like 9s or 9.5s at best to me comparing my 17x9 +13 with a 20mm spacer stick out a tad further than yours.
Even though I think Black wheels are overplayed I think they would look bad ass if you had them black powder coated.

It is 10 inch wide,, but there is no more clearence to the tire,, therefore its only 265 wide..

the rim could wear a 305 or more, but dont have clearence for that......

when I go over bumps or loaded with persons on the backseat I have no clearence... Its the side of tire just runnning at edge...
I will make my car a bit higher rearend....
I have to make my springs harder by rubbersticks..

I think there are only 30 -40 mk2 left i denmark.. on the streets.
Because of our taxsystem a mk2 cost in 86 28000 dollars...
We are only 5 million people...

We are arranging an european meet near the german border .. friday-sunday week 30 2009 all supras are welcome ... links will appear as soon as I got it....

My spoilers, kitset, sunshade and other things I been lucky to find at other cars.
Under my restauration work I bought and extra car with rare golden frontspoiler special made for early mk2. Havn`t seen it anywhere else.
I allways look for parts for mk2 and sometimes I find a good offer I have to buy even I dont need it... I got 3 extra engines standing, hatch,early fenders, doors and a lot more,,, I rare sell it because I might need it later.
Sunday I was offered gearbox -diff- seats and a lot of small things..
Think I buy that diff if its cheap.

And the sunshade on the red one is now on the golden too.. I sold the red one without it.

I know the guy who made but dont know how it funktions
I havent see him since 2005 but know where he is living.
He has been working a lot in Dubai,, I think,, and therefore we dont see him at meets any longer. His brother has also a supra mk2 83.

Driving behind the car are beautefull,, its wide tires appears your eyes..
When driving I see a lot driving behind noticing it, I can see them talking supra.
Many coming close to see its a toyota,, youngs dont know that model.

Have to make small adjustment..... like front tires is 235/40-17 , and when I brake hard they touch ,, so 215 with "round shoulders" must be mounted..
Read end is raised a bit in springs to prevent scratcing / rubbing rubber I only have 8mm total free on both sides,, but they dont touch while driving.

When they are mounted on the red one the rear have 1 inch spacers too
