I am a bit concerned because I am, once again, getting conflicting information. There are some guys who say that my adaptors are safe, whilst others say they are very thick & could cause the bolts to shear off. They were fine when I had in my 5M, but with the added power of my 7MGTE, which I intend going bigger with, I have my reservations. The guy who built them is, undoubtedly, one of the best around, but still........what do you guys think? Any experience with adaptors, & just to clarify, I can't get a 0 offset rim locally, so rule that one out.

cant really comment on the safety of them, but I am interested in some more pics of your wheel setup.

also, Im sure if you do get rid of them, you could sell them on here to someone.

I had run my turbo 6M with 25 mm thick adapters for a couple of years with no issue. One of my friends autocross with a similar set up and no wheel fall off yet...

I also had 25mm ones on my rears for a while. I run my cars pretty hard and never had any issues.

I would say that my rear adaptors are closer to 50mm. This is because the rims I have are for a FWD, are 35 offset & 7.5J. I did not have a choice because the Supra 4x114 holes overlapped the 5x100 holes for any RWD wide & narrow rims that I found & so adaptors could not be made. The rim is actually 5x114. I have 235/40/18 rear & 225/40/18 front. I intend widening the rims to allow for wider tyres (we spell tyres, not tires) & making it a wide & narrow set. This, in turn, will allow me to make those adaptors a bit narrower. A friend also suggested that he could get his dad, an engineer, to make new hubs, this obviously after I spent R5500 ($550) on the adaptors!!!
