Snagged 4 rims WITH tires for $100 bucks. 4x114.3 15" rims +31 offset. Looks like they'll clean up nicely. These are just for track/drift, esp with the offset being what it is.

I'm going to polish the hell out of the lip with my awesome idea.
Put car on jack stands, start, put in gear (w/ front wheels chocked), with wheels going in opposite direction of buffer, buff till uber shiny. Yes it's quick and dirty and there will be missed spots. But it's quick.

ANYWAYS..

The spokes, I'm thinking of spraying them (after light initial sanding) a gloss black.

Should I leave them SILVER or go BLACK? My Supra is Silver, and has black #13 decals.

Are they true 3-piece?

If so, flip them so you have super-mad-tyte -90mm offset, paint them gold, and sell them to some driftiot at a huge profit. Then buy some that really fit...

If the lip wasn't so wide I'd say silver, but black will look awesome on those spokes.

Well a few plusses & minuses.

The rims ARE two piece. I figured for the price they'd have fake nuts glued on. So that ROCKS.
I got SIX tires for that price, 4 of them really good (50% left) and 2 of them need flipped on the rims and will last about 1 drift run.

The downside is that one of them has some mediocre curb rash, but for the price I can't bitch.

I'll get them cleaned up tomorrow and see about getting them painted. No idea the make or model on them. I do plan on measuring the backspace to double check it.

As for a narrower track in the rear, I'm not worried about it that much. That means the tires/rims will sit about one inch further inwards on either side. Not that much of a problem. I'm also thinking about removing the centers to polish the lips and paint the centers, then reinstall them.

I vote for semi-gloss black, not full gloss.

I agree I think I'll pick up some Semi-Gloss tomorrow and see about cleaning them up! Semi-Gloss will hide the brake dust / dirt better too.

Once they are finished, they'll look similar to Rexgo's won't they?
