I'm thinking no tire kickers here myself...the potential here is pretty big. IMO this is serious HP for Toyota. I don't know what the V8 potential is. Anybody? Shawn prolly knows. (no pressure intended)

I'm pretty sure it has good potential. Take a look at the lextreme forum. In it's day, the 1UZ was claimed to be one of the best toyota engines ever built.

I've heard a lot of of "one of the best toyota engines ever built". It's a beautiful car, I'd love to take it for a spin, but probably wouldn't buy it. I think the joy of driving it once would be good enough for me, since you can't really drive that thing too often anyways haha.

It might not make a decent daily driver with that much power but I agree that I'd be really nice on the weekends!
