i don't think so on the left kit, ill take another pic cause it depends where i park it looks lower also that was coming off the jack so after driving it the springs settle. but i do need suspension work
thanks on the rims, it surely makes a difference & makes me wanna do more to the mkII...

Been there done that, but I have some tricks that allow me to do it in about half that amount of time.

wow you guys rims look new.
pretty simply it only took me about 3 hrs each rim including break times to fill up the cooler with beer ;)
spray some easy off leave it for few seconds.
then some brillo pads and scrub the rim.
rinse
dry
let it sit there in the sun while u grab a beer
then grab the blue magic chrome polish (i used a old tooth brush to put it on the rim)
the drill with power ball, all over the rim we stood about a good 10 min hitting it with the powerball.
then clean rag & muscle power wipe clean & grab another clean rag to finish polishing up the rim
but some amor all and put on car & grab another beer before u begin on rim 2.

Used 300 grit sand paper
scotchbrite
Wet sanded with 1000 grit sand paper
Buffed with cloth wheel on drill with white rogue compound
And added some Black paint
Doesn't take long, unless they have curb rash, are heavily pitted, and/or wheel weights were on outside of wheel.

If you were to crop the center cap from this pic and enlarge it...would make for an interesting pic.

They turned out great!!!
When I did mine, the biggest problem areas were where the weights had been installed on the outside (major pitting)...more sanding there than the rest of the wheel itself, so I had them installed on the inside of the rim.
I polished one and took it to a tire shop to get balanced, and requested the weight to the inside, and when I picked it up...there it was on the polished side. Took it back the following day, and had it changed.

hey, did you have to use any kind of finish/seal to stop rust?

No I didn't, but this is a recent project, and first time doing it. I think once they are polished, automotive wax will keep them looking nice.
The Zoop Seal product Weezl mentioned is supposed to be the best...but it is very pricey.
