I found these today:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Bridgestone-Eagers-265%2F50%2F14-suit-ute-panelvan-Sandman_W0QQitemZ280352419373QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ 20090601?IMSfp=TL090601147001r11606
and it got me to wondering what tires were available in other countries, and so I found these:
http://www.tyretown.com/1198_bridgestone/eagers330.htm
I'm sure it wouldn't be worth it to buy them and have them shipped, but damn this makes me mad that we don't get them here. :duh::duh::duh::duh:

those tires in the ebay auction are probably so old i wouldnt trust them. would be nice to have that size available though. id rather find some 275/50/16's though. closesty i can find is 275/55/16 drag radials. thats a bit tall for my taste.

I'm going to assume the 265/50s are discontinued, bc they are Eager 330s, but in the 2nd link I posted only the 245s are still available.
Sucks for us, either way
hay, group buy?? LOL

What sucks is that the 225/60/14 Michelin Pilots are still listed as available overseas - found em on two different websites. ityres.com and something else...

I believe when I was looking for tires last these were available, but only by special order. I didn't get a price because i ended up buying another car hehe

Not really, its supply and demand. There is very little demand for the stock size here, and to be honest they were never a great size. Time to get some 15s or bigger guys, at least we have several affordable off the shelf options now.
