Questioning a sticky?

Just curious as to why this thread: http://www.celicasupra.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3529 is a sticky...

It's clutter at best and alarmist at worst. I've never heard of anyone losing a 7mgte because the oil got too hot. :lol:

i dont care about the stickey but many have lost engens do to low oil this is one way to prevent your 7m from eating oil. If you dont beleve me that fine but i lost one block do to rod nock when the car ran low on oil (mined you i had no oil leeks ) so thats wy i posted this infow

Well, if your 7mgte is eating oil there are other serious issues going on. But that's what the oil dipstick and pressure guage are for.:) Chances are a oil burner like that would need a rebuild anyway.
