Haven't shown much of this here. This is a '83 SR5 4x4. 22r, what a beast it is in 4low. It drags my dads jeep all over the yard both in 4x4.

The vin on the army plaque, and the vin on the truck do indeed match. Just figured I'd show it off.

So, whats the story?

Well as far back as I know, is that my grandpa bought it off a man for $1200.00 back a few years ago. It has mud tires on it, but he put smaller ones on it because my short grandma wanted to drive it, but didn't want to carry a stepping stool everywhere she went. :D My grandpa said it goes back to the gulf war.

Did someone get a tank plate and add the Toyota Motor Corp to be cute?

No, the vin number on the truck matches the vin number on the plaque. Pretty sweet.

That tell me that someone got a 'tank' plate and added Toyota info. Its obviously not a M60A1 tank labeled a Toyota, made in the NUMMI plant.

It is most likely faked, yes. Would have been cool as hell real though.

It certainly doesn't weigh 52 tons.

I noticed that a few minutes ago. Well, the plaque is leaving soon. Thread title needs to just read My toyota now, lol. Ohhhhh, I feel like a douche.
