I saw these guys just before thay started there race. They went down to the Angels stadium for the D1 event that was held there on May 2nd. They have some really nice cars.

My buddy Matt from Garage419 shld be driving a new reddish/orange Ford pickup, but I dont see it in your pix. Was it there? Its a factory prototype or some shit. Shldve had Black Magic stickers all over it.

Wish I'd have known about this - they were only a few miles from my place. Our local paper had a front page feature on them.

If you look at the Grand National you can see some duct tape - it seems he got in a fender bender during the last leg :eekfacepalm:

Matt's been making video updates almost daily.

He's driving an F150 SVT Raptor

Gives you a pretty good sense of the fun these guys are having, but the police have really escalated enforcement. Im told several drivers have been arrested.

Yes i did see the raptor But the crowd around it was insane and i just got done driving from jersey so i figured i would head home. But its cool you guys know some of these people. I apologize for posting in the wrong thread. I forgot about this category.

Honestly I think these x-country rallies are played out (maybe Im just too old now).

But Matt's a lotta fun to hang with.

Id like to make the trip with some good friends in maybe one or two cars max... less conspicuous that way too.

That's def on my list too.... but I kinda like the idea of this big mass chaos type event with a bunch of strangers and big media sponsors. It could be a nice in a lifetime opportunity for a chump like me ;) (esp having sponsors to pay for it!) I want to do the Power Tour too, may do that next year.
