i'm bored at work, so i thought i'd start a wonderful discussion on them. i'd rather have a ferrari than a lamborghini. what would you rather have??


i'd have to say, my favorite ferrari, is the 612. what's yours?!?!?

also, being my job is highline transportation, i drive quite a bit of ferrari's. have you driven one? if so, what kind? did you like it? did you have a chance to "open'er'up"?

I'm a bit torn on this one; I love the 250 GTO for beautiful lines and that musical banshee howl for a 12 carb throats, but the 355 F1 Spider also has a real appeal for me (I see one around work on a regular basis, and love the shape; to me it's the perfection of the wedge shaped car). Not that I'd have an issue with most Ferraris (hell, the Dino on the Top Gear budget super cars episode doesn't look half bad). Also, I better throw the F40 in there for the beautiful focus on purpose; no unnecessary frills (like carpet, door skins, etc), just raw beastly performance taken to an extreme without compromises like in the F50 and Enzo.

Of course, I'd take a Lambo Muria over any of those without question, other than maybe the F40 :laugh:

tha new 599 gtb and the f430 scuderia are by far my favorites, you get the city capability with the 599 and the balls to the wall race performance with the scuderia! :eek4dance:

Gotta say the 275 California is my favorite, followed closely by the 250 GTO. The newer ones are very beautiful, but the barking, snarling V12s of the earlier Ferrari models will always be my favorite sound. In the above video, my favorite part is from about :20 to 1:00.

I'm only a few minutes from the local dealer and I'm always over there on the off chance to see a GTO, Boxer, ect... The sound of those is unreal. My favorite though would have to be a 365 GTB/4.

The doctor/founder of the dental company my wife works for has both a F430 Spider and a 599GTB Fiorano. They are both pretty bad-ass, not sure which I like better.
