Image Wheels (http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/) from the UK, another custom wheel manufacturer with quit a large selection of styles.

Just a few...

Raj... a couple of them look exactly like compomotives... whats the deal with this Image Company?

Greg. Sorry, I have no idea. They are only 20 minutes away from each other and not far from where I grew up as a child. Next trip I make back home I'll be visiting both.

It's cool that they make the same wheels with exposed lugs or covered lugs.

Compomotive knockoff?

Or just rebadged?

If they are just down they road, they might have a distribution agreement.

If you look closely at Compos offerings, it appears as if this is a totally different range of wheels. Even the CXN style mesh is a bit different. Compo does private label work, so they may be the manufacturer. Its probably the worst center cap logo ever, but that can be handled ;)

Awesome find Raj, I don't think anyone has seen these wheels on this forum. I really like this: 18", 4 lug, stepped lip. No one else offers that combo in that style. DAVE, I think Raj found your next wheel company ;)

Besides shipping, the other PITA would be choosing which wheels since they base the price off size/width, not style or bolt pattern, and they have quite a few nice wheels that can be had.

I have known about this company for a while. Don't know why I never posted them before? More designs than Compomotive. They make cast and billet wheels, 2pce and 3 pce.

Look closely, but there are differences.

Stepped lips are a lot stronger than flat lips. Too many nice styles to choose from. I don't know why, but I really like these.

I am fond of the meshies (there are a few though), or these since I have a thing for the 5 star rims:

Lancia Stratos wheels, Mike. I think these are very very hot, but largest diameter available is only 16". Another reason to go 5 bolt, still more and better wheel selection.

When I eventually go back I will try to bring back a set of wheels with me. 18x8.5+6 and 18x9.5+0.

Yessir, I've always LOVED those wheels. However, a 1pc concave would look even better. (like you linked) Many folks here are fine with 16s...Carlos, you and Dave are the 18s fans ;)

ps. Carlos, where are pix??!!! :0

Just have the whole wheel painted, lip and all.

Far more tyre selection with respect to widths and aspect ratio in 18" diameter than 17".

I am absolutely in love with these two. Either in gold or black obviousely on a black car.

Those Halibrands are cool, but theyre 15-20 years off the mark style-wise. They came on the scene approx 1964-65.

Why not just run Baby Moons or Crager 5-slots.

Yes Bry... those wld look hot-2-death with black centers on your car.

At a UK car show i was at this year, a guy had a set of 17" Image alloys, he went for the 3 piece wheel to get the correct offset.....
