Price: $60 Shipping Included
Part Number: Raptor-MK2-EGR

A Raptor Racing exclusive product; these quality and gorgeous EGR block off plates are made in the USA out of 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum. This kit includes a block off plate for the back of the head and the intake manifold; simply use TOYOTA FIPG or your favorite high heat gasket sealer and you’re set to go. Contact Mark from Vancouver Toyota here (’ http://forums.celicasupra.com/forumdisplay.php?f=46) if you want to use Toyota Gaskets.

Removing your EGR really gives your engine bay a clean look but please check with your local laws as removing the EGR systems will fail visual inspection in many states/provinces.

Sorry guys...these are sold out for now. I only have the part that bolts onto the intake manifold and not the large piece that goes to the back of the head. I've been meaning to put this back into production but with the shrinking number of MK2's with 5M's it just might not be worth it :(.

Much easier/cheaper just to block off the two-bolt flange at the side of the EGR cooler plate...

Would it be possible to make the block off the two-bolt flange at the side of the EGR cooler plate (what BillyM suggested) and sell off the rest of your inventory (that bolts onto the intake manifold)? They would be of the same construction, just different sizes. That would help both of us, and I would be interested right now :-)

I could but I don't have anything to use as a templete, if anyone has somethign to send me I'll be glad to have a look and get something built.

I'll look around and see if I have an EGR valve and pipe, may even get lucky and find the gaskets.

I'm interested in doing this, is there a thread explaining what needs to be done in order to remove the system
my search came up with nothing
