has anybody considered re-amking the stock p-type rims in a bigger size like 16x8?? that would be awesome direct replacement for the stock 14"x8 ones... i know alot of guys would go for thoses... i know alot of companies make replacement OEM style but bigger old american muscle car rims in 16s and 18s and 19s why not make the stock p-type in 16s for us??

just a thought...

yea its been talked about a few times already over the past years. If you do a search on it you will find a few threads with some info on that. It seems that in the end there isnt enough buyers willing to put actual money down to have it done.

sorry to say...but you did not search...or you just really suck at it.

I am not trying to be a dick...but it has been mentioned several times..there are threads with different photoshops of different sizes and everything.
Infact there is a sticky about it in the wheel/tire section.

I read this yesterday... and somewhere within it, the guy was talking about how if it went well that he would look into doing some sort of remake.

Geez! Just look at the stickies at the top of the page! It's the one entitled: Can someone make P-Type wheels in 16"s or bigger?? NOOO!!
Does that sound almost like the title of this thread?!

$500 will get you a pair of sportmaxx's. its not going to get you a nice set of non universal wheels, and its certainly not going to get you a set of custom wheels. this COULD totally happen, but very few people would pay for it and youll never get enough people to commit for a a set of reasonably priced ones. sure american car companies have this available, hell you can pretty much buy brand new replacement parts to build an entire 60's chevy. the early z guys have this as well. there just arent enough mk2's around to warrant it.
