Sister's 94 Celica GT. 5SFE 2.2L 4banger. Blew a radiator hose overheated and then BHG. Warped head was rebuilt and shaved by machineshop which provided new head gasket and shim to make up difference in shave. My nephew put it back together and the timing belt is too loose. New timing belt and idler pulley still too loose. I looked at it and we can't see anything else wrong. Could the machine shop have shaved off so much that the head needs a thicker shim to make up difference for the belt?
