Car has run a best of 12.54@112.1 on street tires, the air was good that day(DA -700) and the track was hooking pretty good, my 60 foot was 1.93 :)
I'm making almost exactly 400/400 at the wheels on the stock motor, but I have dyno tuned it and I have an AFE intake and high-flo cats in addition to a Corsa catback.

Nice! I love those cars, always have since they came out. Raced one not long ago in my truck and we were pretty much dead even till 120 when we shut down.

geez thats a fast truck! Imagine if that engine was in a duster....
Does the video play sound, but freeze the image for anyone else? Its like the suck-ass vimeo vids. They play, but stop on a frame and continue audio. I wanna see it!!!
Upload to youtube?
Well - try this, but I don't think there is any video problem other than photobucket sucking on occasion.

MUCH better! Thing is fast!! Ever wish it was a manual trans?
Not really, I mean a manual would be fun too but I'm really comfortable with autosticking now and I don't feel like it's too much of a trade off, and this is all last generation AMG Mercedes hardware so it's really durable and easy to put the power down. Plus this is our family car and my wife drives it. Got the Mk2 to shift when I want ;)
This motor revs so freely with peak torque at 4500 rpms, and the only time it makes less than 300 ft/lbs(to the wheels) is below 2k rpms. SRT Hemi into a MK2, I think you are onto something Wade :)

Thats what I think when I see 12 sec big fat american cars/trucks......imagine that in a small import car or even their own small light car like ford's pinto or chevy's chevette and whatever dodge has lolololololoolol sorry i dunno 70s-80s dodge very well.
Best example is a friend of mine has identical 1j to me and his is a cressida (new civic) and hes exactly 2 seconds slower than I am all because of the weight.

Your car sounds good! I miss when we were a Jeep dealer, the AWD SRT Cherokees were fun to drive too.
One of the service writers I work with has his work computers background set to his SRT's speedo pegged all the way over. And yes, he took the picture...

Thanks :) I've only done about 130-140, just haven't had the room and confidence to try for 170+, hopefully someday!
Here's a couple more vids I have:

For reference I had a 2.04 60 foot, 8.38@87.4 1/8 mile. Track prep was a little crappy for a test and tune day so I had to baby it out of the hole and I also spun on the 1-2 shift. I feel that's a pretty representative run for what I could do out on the street.
That was a really fun race because that little RX-7 next to me was crazy! I actually treed him and had him by about a car length at the 1/8 mile but could tell he was coming, then he absolutely exlpoded ahead of me in 3rd gear by 4-5 lengths, and then just jumped up the track in 4th gear and pulled another 4-5 lengths to run a 11.96@133! It was really fun to watch and he probably had about 10 lengths on me at the end.
Here's an exhaust video:

:)
So I tried racing a few times out here in ABQ at 5300 feet, a buddy of mine took a couple videos for me two weekends ago.
I get killed by a Subaru running 12.2 here:

Here(2nd race) I beat a Magnum SRT8 with a lot more mods than I have:

And I gave my buddy a ride in this one and we went 13.8@101 I think.
http://www.youtube.com/user/eandkgreen?feature=mhum#p/a/u/0/wzY8c1HxDO0
I have found that I'm about 1 second and 10 mph slower here because of the elevation and density altitude differences. Need supercharger :)
