Thanks Guys, this weekend I'm doing the suspension bushings and within a few months I'm gonna do the Tokico/Eibach/Adco work. Should look pretty cool and handle very well.

Awesome pics
Lots of band width usage. You should see if semus can host em.
1st time I've seen mk2 with those wheels. Those look like VELOX wheels, what are they? What size?
smooth ride

Thanks for all the kind words, guys. It's not as pretty in real life though.
The wheels are Velox VX-8R
(Available in 16x7, Gunmetal only) see here
http://www.wheelsmarket.com/wheelsmarket/vx8r67gun.html
The tires are 205/50/16s and I've heard that I can go to 225 and 245 front and rear, respectively. When they wear out, I'll make that improvement.
The seats in the pics were steam cleaned earlier that day. The driver's side is still somewhate grimy but I may have a line on some lower mileage one ;)
I don't know who Don Culbertson is but it sounds like a compliment. Thanks!
Dave,
Nice...I'm running 225/50r16 front and 245/45r16 rear...and both of these sizes give you almost exactly the same tire diameter as stock as to not upset the speedometer...if you care about that anyway.

Yeah, I do care about that but apparently, the previous owner did not. The speedo is off at least 10% (reading high) but it's a waste to replace the tires now, they're nearly brand new.
Just burn them off

Nice!
I have a MKII in desperate need of restoration.
Your MKII looks great. Hope to see more pics as you keep improving it.
This is a great site to learn more about my MKII.
Keep us posted on your car.

I bought the car with those rims on it so I don't know where or how the previous owner purchased them. Call them up and see what sizes they offer. You will need spacers/adapters. They were also on the car when I bought it.
I'm in Medford, which is in South Jersey near Cherry Hill.
All the New Jersey peeps should get together some day soon!
