Hello guys i recently purchased a motor and it was 300 bucks
So i knew i possibly could luck out or get lost on 300 bucks
So i put it all together with some new gaskets and new clutch flywwheel and a bunch of new stuff
I put it in the car got the rest of the parts wiring and fluids good and cranked her never checked timing but figured it was ok

It only started when i had it revved and would shut off if i let off
now i checked the timing about 3 times and retimed it to make it perfect
and the ignition timing should be good

I have a video of what it does if i dont give it throttle
it is from a cell but all i have

im thinking possibly the MAF as i leaned it out on my last motor and i marked original and put it back i believe to what it was maybe that messed it up?

Sorry trying to get her running for the NE meet in Nov
been in the car 3 weeks and cant figure this out and i have tried searching

Thanks guys any help appreciated , Justin

check for intake air leaks. Good idea to reset engine back to stock (AFM) when troubleshooting to uncomplicate diagnosis.
