Remote Engine Start Sys.

Hi i was wondering if anyone has installed a Remote Engine Starting System.
I would appreciate any feed back on this topic as I am fairly new to this kind of thing.

I have. There are a lot of things to cover so the big question first off is, is your car auto or 5 speed. There are wiring differences and the use of relays all depending on this factor for safety reasons. You will need a five wire lock harness or two relays for the door locks and a few other things where do you want to start?

Installed one on mine, but don't use it much since it decides if it wants to work or not. Originally I just wanted to put in a wireless door lock system, but a full alarm w/start was only $40 more.

If you are not good at wiring, save yourself a headache and just get a shop to install it for you. If you are good/decent at wiring, the instructions are pretty easy to deal with.
