I just brought the celica supra for 3 days.
At frist I heard a ticky nosie from the timing belt.
I went to ask a mech. and they say it make be a pully bearing.
The 2 days I drove it to a buddy house and it start to sqeaking every loud.
The 3 day, I didn't drive it.
The day it die, It cranks but now it don't crank anymore.
The lights and stuff works. But the engine is not doing anything.

Also, frist gear... when you start off... it really slow...
and the rpm and gauges doesn't reading right...

Also, you have to panel the gas all the way ;(

I would check if the engine can be turned over by hand, and check if any of the pulleys (alternator, A/C, power steering pump, water pump, tensionser pulley etc) are free to move. I had a seized alternator pulley once and the thing will not turn over.

As stated above, remove the upper timing cover (5(?) 10mm bolts). Turn it over. Do the cams move? Does the timing belt move?
