Clicking while accelerating

Started the car, got on the highway, and noticed a faint clicking coming from my dash. It sped up/slowed down as I accelerated/decelerated then after I drove about 20 miles, it stopped clicking. I don't think its my climate control. My speedo gauge functions ok. Speedo cable going bad, maybe?

Ohhh, the infamous clicking... done that in all my Supras, as your first guess it's likely a clip loose on one of the control sliders.
